MATHEMATICS & PHYSICS
Showcase of work I have done in mathematics and physics during my academic career.
April 11, 2016
My honours mathematics project.
Abstract:
We discuss various connections between computability and topology. A simple topological proof for the Type-2 version of Rice's Theorem is given. We characterise semi-decidability and computability in the context of effective topological spaces. Finally, Type-2 and Markov computability are compared, and the notion of Kolmogorov complexity is used to describe an exact relationship.
CATEGORY THEORY PROJECT
